What is Hysteroscopy & Laparoscopy?

In hysteroscopy a fine telescope is passed through the cervix to inspect the uterine cavity, allowing removal of a polyp, submucosal fibroid or adhesions. Laparoscopy is performed through small incisions to assess the ovaries, tubes and pelvis.
